PAYING FOR SOMETHING
PayPal is free whenever you use it to buy something. The seller pays us a small fee to securely handle your payment. As a buyer, you never pay a fee to use PayPal*.
PayPal doesn't charge you for opening an account, nor for adding funds to it.
WITHDRAWING MONEY FROM YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT
There’s no charge for withdrawing funds from your PayPal account to a bank account. You only need to add a checking account to your PayPal account. For more details, log in to your account and click on Withdraw.
PayPal fees mainly apply to the payment recipient, who usually pays a 4% transaction fee on the total sale amount plus a $4.00 MXN fee per transaction. If your sales volume increases, the fee you pay may go down. Please see PayPal Merchant Fees for more details.
Discounted merchant rate 3.0%

* If your transaction requires a currency conversion, we will use a retail exchange rate (the wholesale cost of foreign currency, as determined by an outside financial institution) plus a 3.5% currency conversion fee. During the payment process, PayPal will always provide information on transactions that include a currency conversion. The currency conversion rate will be displayed each time you:
- Send a payment in a non-local currency.
- Accept and automatically convert a payment to your primary currency.
- Transfer funds between currency balances.
