Micropayment Pricing Agreement
Last Update: Oct 05, 2010
- This Micropayment Pricing Agreement is a contract between you and PayPal (Europe) S. à r.l. & Cie, S.C.A. ("PayPal"), which supplements the PayPal User Agreement and specifically governs your use of the Micropayment Pricing (as defined in Clause 3 below). You agree that any use by you of the Micropayment Pricing shall constitute your acceptance of this Micropayment Pricing Agreement and we recommend that you save and store or print-off a copy of this Micropayment Pricing Agreement. If you do not wish to accept this Micropayment Pricing Agreement, you may still use the PayPal Services but you will be charged the standard transaction fee rate provided for in the User Agreement, instead of the Micropayment Pricing.
- Capitalised terms not otherwise defined in this Micropayment Pricing Agreement shall have the meaning set forth in the PayPal User Agreement.
- The Micropayment Pricing is a special pricing structure for micropayments. This pricing structure will be explained to you while you will be signing-up for Micropayment Pricing and is also detailed in the User Agreement.
- The Micropayment Pricing will apply to all payments received into your PayPal Account so it is solely your responsibility to determine whether this pricing structure is suitable for the type and size of payments received into your PayPal Account.
- PayPal will determine in its sole discretion whether you are eligible for the Micropayment Pricing, eligibility criteria include but are not limited to the type of goods you sell, the selling price of these goods and your PayPal Business Account status.
Only eligible PayPal account holders will be able to sign up to the Micropayment Pricing. - If you sign up for the Micropayment Pricing, you expressly agree that in case your buyer files a claim with PayPal and asks for a refund of the payment made to you, whatever the reason thereof, you will be entirely and exclusively responsible for the refund and PayPal may, without any duty to investigate the reasons of such refund request and without being bound to any requirements for such recourse, automatically debit your PayPal Account, your bank account and/or your credit card in such amount and reverse it to your buyer’s PayPal Account. You expressly agree to such debit and authorise PayPal to automatically effect such debits.
