Getting started with your PayPal business account
Follow the guides below to complete your account set-up in 3 easy steps. You’ll need to confirm your email address, add a payment method and choose a PayPal payment solution.

Link and verify your bank account
Link and verify your bank account to withdraw the money you receive and lift the withdrawal limit. You can withdraw locally denominated funds to your linked bank accounts in Korea and it’s free for $150,000 KRW or more. If you have a bank account in the US, 2.5% is charged to withdraw US denominated funds to banks in the US. It normally takes 3 - 5 business days for the funds to appear in your banks.
Make sure the name of your bank account matches the name on your PayPal account. You can help prevent linkage failure by making sure your bank name information is correct.
- Log in to your PayPal account
- Click on the Profile tab and then Money – Link a Bank
- Enter your bank account information and click Continue
- We’ll deposit 2 small amounts (less than $1 USD equivalent) into your bank account. When you see these deposits in your account, enter the 2 amounts into the verification section of your PayPal account.
