How do I view the status of my refund?

Here’s how to view the status of your refund:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Activity.
  3. Select Refunds in the drop down menu.
  4. Click the transaction in question.

If you paid using your credit or debit card, the refund is credited to that card. Depending on your card issuer, it may take up to 30 days for your refund to appear on your card statement.

If you paid using your PayPal balance, the refund is credited to your PayPal account.

If you paid using both card and your PayPal balance, the amount paid with the card is refunded to that card. The remaining amount is refunded to your PayPal account.
