What does it mean if a seller or buyer is Verified or Unverified?
Verification increases the security of our payment network for sellers and buyers it also gives you access to more PayPal features and services. Verification gives PayPal additional evidence of a member's identity, and lets others know that you have completed this process.
To become Verified, you need to follow these steps:
- Create a PayPal account.
- Confirm your email address.
- Link a bank account to your PayPal account.
Alternatively, log in to your PayPal account, click on the Unverified link, and follow the instructions.
What is a confirmed address?
A confirmed address means that the buyer's credit card billing and shipping address are the same. In general, we cannot confirm most addresses outside the U.S. at this time.
If your seller requires a confirmed shipping address, we suggest you contact them directly. Sellers may deliver to an unconfirmed address, but they are responsible for any buyer-initiated disputes.
