  1. For a limited time only, PayPal Hong Kong Limited (“PayPal”) is offering selected PayPal customers (“you” or “your”):
    1. A referee reward of HKD $300 per customer (“Sign Up Offer”). This Sign Up Offer will be available to you for 60 days from the date you complete the sign up (the “Offer”).
  2. For referees - to be eligible to participate and receive the Sign Up Offer:
    1. You must sign up for a PayPal Hong Kong business account during the Validity Period. The Validity Period means the period commencing on the date on which these terms and conditions are published and ending on 31 December 2024.
    2. You must receive at least HKD $600 in commercial payments into your PayPal business account within the first 60 days of signing up. This must be received via a PayPal checkout flow and excludes invoicing payment flows.
    3. Your PayPal account must be in good standing at the time the offer is processed.
    4. If you meet the criteria set out above, PayPal will credit HKD $300 into your PayPal account. This Sign Up Offer is limited to one (1) HKD $300 reward per eligible participant.
  3. For referrers - to be eligible to participate and receive the Referral Offer:
    1. The referrer must hold a valid and subsisting PayPal business account in Hong Kong, registered with PayPal.
    2. The referrer’s PayPal account must be in good standing.
    3. The referee must not be an existing PayPal business account holder. To proceed, the referee must click on the unique referral link provided in the referrer’s email to sign up for a PayPal business account.
    4. The referee must complete all of the following:
      1. Successfully sign up for a PayPal Hong Kong business account, registered with PayPal, during the Validity Period;
      2. Receive at least HKD $600 in commercial payments into their PayPal account within the first 60 days of signing up (“Initial Transactions”), via a PayPal checkout flow (excluding Invoice payments); and
      3. The referee’s account must be in good standing at the time the reward is processed.
  4. Details of domestic and international commercial payment fees can be found in Exhibit A of the User Agreement. Any additional fees such as currency conversion fees or chargeback fees will not be refunded as part of this Offer.

  5. Your eligible reward will be credited to your PayPal balance every 45 days during the Validity Period.

  6. The Offer is subject to availability and PayPal reserves the right to terminate, withdraw and/or change any part or all of the Offer or these terms and conditions at any time.

  7. PayPal shall, in its sole discretion, determine the PayPal account holders who are eligible to participate in the Offer. PayPal reserves the right to review any account or transaction related to this Offer, in its sole discretion, without notice, and delay completion of the Offer. PayPal has the sole and absolute right to disqualify any person from redeeming the Offer.

  8. The Offer shall be void where prohibited or if a participant’s account or transactions are fraudulent, abusive, not completed through legitimate channels, or irregular in any way.

  9. If for any reason, the Offer is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of PayPal, PayPal reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, including to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer.

  10. Any questions relating to the Offer will be resolved in PayPal’s sole discretion and its decisions related to the Offer and these terms and conditions will be final and binding.

  11. By participating in the Offer, you agree to these terms and conditions.

  12. Notwithstanding anything herein, PayPal shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any defect or malfunction in the Offer, and/or for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with the use of the Offer by any person.
