How long will it take for PayPal to investigate my claim?
To ensure a fair outcome for both parties in the transaction, we collect information and evidence from various sources while investigating a claim. Most claims are investigated within 10-14 days or less. However, depending on the complexity of the situation, we can sometimes require up to 30 days or longer to review a case and decide the outcome.
If we request for new information from the either party, we'll specify the deadline for submitting the information.
We’ll inform you through email when there’s an update on your case. You can also check the status of the claim anytime in the Resolution Centre.
