Why did I get a data type mismatch in the CreditCardType element?

There is a data type mismatch in the CreditCardType element.

The CreditCardType element in SOAP passed the wrong value. This element is used across multiple APIs, and it must have one of the following values:
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Discover
  • Amex
  • Maestro

Remember that the value is case-sensitive.

Note: If the CreditCardType is Maestro, you must set currencyId to GBP. You must also specify either StartMonth and StartYear or IssueNumber.
