My account is limited. How do I issue a refund?
If your PayPal account is limited, you have two options to issue a refund:
Option 1 - Restore the full access to your PayPal account:
Go to the Resolution Centre to find out more about how to restore full access to your PayPal account.
Option 2 - Write an Authorisation email:
- Click Email customer support.
- Follow the steps and make sure to provide the information below:
- Transaction ID.
- Name and email of the recipient.
- Amount you wish to refund.
If you choose to issue a full refund, the dispute closes automatically. If you choose to issue a partial refund, the dispute doesn't close and you need to contact your buyer to solve the transaction issue.
