Why was money automatically transferred from my bank account or credit card to my PayPal balance?

You may have set up automatic transfers to your PayPal balance to cover micropayments (less than $4.00 USD).


Here’s how to review and update your settings:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Settings at the top of the page.
  3. Click My account settings.
  4. Click Update beside 'My checkout settings.'
  5. Select the payment preference you wish use.
  6. Click Update settings.
  7. Click Yes to update your settings.

You can update your settings once every 6 months.
