What if I failed to confirm my debit or credit card?
If the PayPal code is entered incorrectly 3 times, the credit card is disabled from the PayPal system.
If you would like to use a card that has been disabled, contact us by clicking Contact Us at the bottom of any PayPal webpage so that we can help you re-add it. Once you have re-added the credit card, you can ask to have the PayPal code resent.
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click My Account.
- Click Confirm my debit or credit card under Notifications.
- Click Resend PayPal Code at the bottom of the page. If there is more than one card listed, choose the appropriate card in the drop-down menu.
- Click Save and Continue.
A new PayPal code may be requested up to 3 times.
