Why can't I log in?

You might not be able to log in if:
  • You forgot your password or email address.
  • You changed your email address or password.
If you forgot your password or changed your email address, click Problem with login and follow the instructions.

You may also need to clear your cache and cookies.


Here's how to clear your cache and cookies if you’re using Windows:


For Internet Explorer 8 and 9:

  1. Click Tools near the top of the browser..
  2. Click Safety, and then click Delete browsing history.
  3. Select the Cookies check box, and then click Delete.


For Safari 5:

Here's how to clear your cache:

  1. Click Safari.
  2. Click Empty Cache.
  3. Click Empty.

Here's how to clear your cookies:

  1. Click Safari.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Click Show Cookies.
  5. Click Remove All.
  6. Click Remove All to confirm the deletion.
  7. Click Done to finish the process.
  8. Restart Safari for the changes to take place.


For Firefox 4.0:

Click on the Firefox button at the top of the screen.

  1. Click Options.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Click Network.
  4. Under Offline Storage, click Clear Now.
  5. Click OK.

Here's how to clear cache and cookies if you're using Mac OS X:


For Safari 5:

Here's how to clear your cache:

  1. Click Safari.
  2. Click Empty Cache.
  3. Click Empty.

Here's how to clear your cookies:

  1. Click Safari.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Click Show Cookies.
  5. Click Remove All.
  6. Click Remove All to confirm the deletion.
  7. Click Done to finish the process.
  8. Restart Safari for the changes to take place.


For Firefox 4.0:

  1. Click Firefox.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Click Network.
  5. Under Offline Storage, click Clear Now.
  6. Click OK.

Here's how to clear your cache and cookies for Safari for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch:

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Click Safari.
  3. Click Clear Cookies.
  4. Click Clear Cookies again.
  5. Click Clear Cache.
  6. Click Clear Cache again.
