How does this work?

To use this service, you must have the following:
  • Have a verified PayPal account.
  • Register on Tenpo PayPal website.
  • Have a bank account associated with your RUT registered with Tenpo.
  • Link your PayPal and Tenpo accounts.

How do I link my accounts?

  1. Go to www.tenpo.cl/paypal and choose the option "Register" at the top.
  2. Select the use of the account - "Personal" or "Company".
  3. Enter the owner information, accept the Terms and Conditions of the service and create your Tenpo password.
  4. Then enter your PayPal account from which you are going to withdraw dollars and click "Continue".
  5. Confirm that your PayPal account information is correct and enter your PayPal password and press "OK". You will receive an email from PayPal notifying the link.
  6. Verify and activate your bank account, associated with the registered RUT, making an electronic transfer to the Tenpo account for the minimum allowed from $1.00 USD to $2,000.00 USD, according to your bank. This amount will be returned on your first withdrawal.
  7. 10 minutes after the transfer, you will see a message confirming the association of your accounts on the Tenpo site and you will also receive an email from Tenpo confirming the activation.

How do I transfer funds from my PayPal account to my Tenpo account?

To be able to transfer funds held in your PayPal account to your Tenpo account you must follow the steps listed below:
  1. Go to www.tenpo.cl/paypal with your RUT and 4-digit Tenpo password.
  2. Indicate the amount you want to withdraw. The associated commissions, exchange rate and the total to be received in Chilean pesos will be displayed. To confirm press “Request Withdrawal”.
  3. Then the transfer will be available in your associated bank account in 2 or 5 business days depending on the amount.

How much can I withdraw per day?

If it is direct to the bank account, the minimum withdrawal amount is $20.00 USD and the maximum is $10,000.00 USD per withdrawal. However, there is no limit on the no. of withdrawals per day. If the withdrawal is to the digital account, the minimum withdrawal amount is $10.00 USD and the maximum is $1,000.00 USD per withdrawal.
