How do I integrate PayPal Payments Pro with VirtueMart?

Here's how:
  1. Log in to your VirtueMart admin panel.
  2. Select VirtueMart > Payment Methods.
  3. Click New.
  4. Configure the following settings:
  • Payment Name - Enter a Payment Name (example: Pay with Credit Card).
  • Published - Select Yes.
  • Select VM Payment -Select PayPal as the payment method.
  • Currency - Select your preferred Currency for PayPal transactions.
  1. Review additional options.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Click Configuration.
  4. Configure the following settings to complete your PayPal Payments Pro integration:  
  • PayPal Product - Select PayPal Payments Pro.
  • Shop Environment - Select Production.
  • API Username - Enter your API Username.
  • API Password - Enter your API Password.
  • API Signature - Enter your API Signature.
  • Authentication - Select Signature.
  • CVV required - PayPal recommends enabling this option for added security.
  • Payment Action - Select Direct Payment (Sale) or Authorize and Capture.
  • Detail of all items will be sent to PayPal payment page - Select Yes.
  • Currency - Select your preferred Currency for PayPal transactions.
    • Email Currency is not a required feature, but is an optional method to specify a different currency for display and invoicing purposes.
  1. Review additional options.
  2. Click Save.
