I have a website and I want to start accepting payments online. How do I do this?

If you already have a website, use PayPal Payments to accept debit card, credit card and bank account payments, all through one provider. You don't need a separate merchant account and gateway.

PayPal Payments Standard. Customers can shop on your website and pay on PayPal. This is a quick and easy way to start accepting credit cards online. A simple integration into your website allows your customers to pay securely and easily. The PayPal Shopping Cart, a feature included in PayPal Payments Standard, allows your customers to add multiple items to their shopping cart and allows you to accept payments for the items at one time directly from your website. Your customers don't even need a PayPal account to make a payment.

PayPal Payments Pro. Customers shop and pay on your website. This solution contains features comparable to merchant accounts and gateways, at a low monthly cost. Customers paying by credit card stay on your website for the entire transaction; PayPal is invisible. For those customers who prefer to pay with PayPal, give them the option to pay quickly and conveniently through their account.
