How do I add, remove, or update the Accepted Card Types in my PayPal Manager account?

 Once you have acquired an internet merchant account to process Visa/MasterCard transactions, contact Payflow Support to have the new processor information added to your account. Once the new processor has been added, follow these steps:

To add a credit card:

  1. Log in to PayPal Manager as an administrator.
  2. Click Account Administration.
  3. Click Accepted Card Types.
  4. To add a new credit card, click Add Card Type.
  5. From the available card types listed, select the credit card type to add to your account.
  6. Click Add Card Type to update your account.

To remove a credit card:

  1. Log in to PayPal Manager as an administrator.
  2. Click Account Administration.
  3. Click Accepted Card Types.
  4. Click Remove Card Type.
  5. From the available card types listed, select the credit card type to remove from your account.
  6. Click Remove Card Type to update your account.

Note:  In most cases, changes to your account are available within 1-2 hours after the change is made.

Additional Information: For American Express partnered accounts (PARTNER=AmericanExpress):

Before you can begin to accept other card types, you must first obtain a Visa/MasterCard merchant account. You have two options:

  • Contact your business bank to see if they offer an internet merchant account.
  • Contact Payflow Sales at 1-888-847-2747 or by email at payflowsales@paypal.com to obtain a merchant account.

To add or remove a card type that you accept through your Payflow Service, please contact PayPal Merchant Support at +61 2 8288 0198 or through email at gateway-ausupport@paypal.com.
