How do I integrate PayPal Payments Standard with Miva Merchant?
- Log in to your Miva Merchant admin panel.
- Click Payment.
- Click the ellipsis button (...).
- Select PayPal Payments Standard.
Note: If you don't see PayPal Payments Standard in this list, click Add/Remove Modules then select PayPal Payments Standard by clicking Install.
- Business Email - Enter your PayPal Business email address.
- PayPal URL - Enter the default PayPal URL; if missing use: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr.
- Currency - Select your preferred currency.
- Prompt Shoppers for Shipping Address (on PayPal side) - Set this to your preferred method.
- (Optional) Type a message to buyers in the Message box.
- Enable IPN for Miva:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Select Profile > Profile and settings.
- Click My selling tools.
- Click Update next to Instant payment notifications. The Instant Payment Notifications (IPN) page appears.
- Click Choose IPN Settings.
- Paste the URL provided in your Miva dialog in Notification URL.
- Select Receive IPN messages (Enabled).
- Click Save.
- Enable PayPal Auto Return:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Select Profile > Profile and settings.
- Select My selling tools.
- Click Update next to Website preferences.
- Set Auto Return to On.
- Paste the URL provided in your Miva dialog in Return URL.
- Click Save.
- Click Update.
