Why did I get API error code 10566?

Issue
PayPal returned API error code 10566 - Credit card type unsupported.

Cause
This error relates to Canadian merchants who don't accept Visa Debit payments.

Solution
Upon login to your PayPal account, you should be prompted to opt in for Visa Debit processing. Once you've opted in, you can process Visa Debit transactions immediately.
