How do I confirm my bank account with PayPal?

You first need to add your bank account to your PayPal account.

To confirm your bank account account, we'll deposit 2 small amounts (each between $0.01 and $0.99 AUD) into your bank account. These amounts will show on your bank statement within 5 business days. You can review your online bank statement, wait for your next paper statement, or contact your bank to find out the exact amounts of these deposits.

Here's how to confirm a bank account you’ve linked to your PayPal account when you receive the deposits:

  1. Click  Wallet  at the top of the page.
  2. Click the bank account you want to confirm.
  3. Enter the exact amounts of the 2 deposits. For example, if the amounts you received are 0.12 and 0.07 AUD, enter 12 and 07.
  4. Click Confirm.

After you complete this process, the initial withdrawal limit on your account will be removed.
