Add/Replace/Remove Bank Account

To add, remove or replace your bank account, simply go to your Wallet.

If you run into any issue when trying to add, remove or replace a bank account, here are some possible reasons behind it:

Unable to add bank account
  • The bank account is already registered to another PayPal account.
  • Your bank account is already linked to another PayPal account.
  • Your PayPal account is limited.
  • The name on your bank account doesn’t match the name on your PayPal account.

Unable to remove bank account
  • There may be an order or payment that is pending or still processing.
  • Your PayPal account is limited.
  • It’s your primary bank account. Before removing it, you’d need to have another bank account linked to PayPal and set it as your new primary bank account.
