How do I file a complaint?

How to submit a complaint or dispute.

If you have a dispute regarding a seller or a buyer, you can lodge a dispute through the Resolution Centre. You can do this by logging in to your PayPal account and clicking on Resolution Centre near the top of the page.

If you have a complaint about our Services, or believe your PayPal account may be subject to an unauthorised transaction, account takeover or other type of fraudulent activity, you should contact us by phone immediately. We always aim to resolve your complaint at first contact with us.

To contact us by phone, click Contact at the bottom of any PayPal page and click Call Us and follow the instructions.

How to escalate your complaint

If you’ve tried to resolve your complaint by calling us and are not satisfied with the outcome, you can escalate your complaint by contacting our Executive Escalations team .
