Will I be affected as a PayPal customer?
Not all PayPal Australia customers will be impacted. Only those who have signed up for an account since 12th December 2007 and reach a certain transaction level will be asked to verify their identity.
Being asked to verify your identity does not mean that you are considered to have taken part in any illegal activity; it simply means your account has reached the designated transaction level.
