If you have a Premier or Business account, you're charged the standard PayPal fees for receiving personal payments. Your mobile phone carrier may charge you for text messages or data usage.

What if my mobile phone gets lost or stolen?

As long as you take measures to keep your PayPal account safe, nobody would be able to access your PayPal account. This is because your mobile PIN or username and password are needed to confirm payments. If your mobile phone gets lost or stolen and you decide to keep your mobile phone number, you have to change your PayPal Mobile PIN. This will ensure that no one can access your PayPal account. If you change your mobile phone number, you need to delete the previous number from your PayPal account.

Will I receive mobile phone spam if I sign up for PayPal Mobile?
